INTRODUCTION TO  MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered evidence-based approach that   provides processes, skills and strategies for having  effective conversations with people about making health or behavior changes. This training is for current ASU students and community members.  It is designed for new learners and is also a great “refresher” for those already familiar with MI.

Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (30 min lunch on own)

Location: ASU School of Social Work –Tucson Campus Tortolita building Rm 230
